Founded in 2008, CVEF is an independent, nonprofit education foundation for the towns of Durham and Middlefield. Our mission is to support lifelong learning in our towns by giving grants and sponsoring programs that encourage innovation, creativity and excellence. Over the past 16 years, we have funded over $200,000 in grants for individuals, groups, community organizations and schools.

Critical to the success of our organization is the participation of Durham and Middlefield residents as members of our Board and committees. We are always looking for people aligned with CVEF’s mission and wanting to join in our efforts. Opportunities include Fundraising, Development, Communications and Events.
